OPERATION THEATER (OT)

Alpha Specialist Centre offers a day surgery facility which is on par with those leading tertiary care hospitals in town. Day surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis which reduces the need for inpatient hospitalization and results in associated cost savings.

Our operation theatre facility was build and constructed in accordance with the stringent specifications required under the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 and Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Regulations 2006. Within the operating theatre, we have a Theatre Sterile Supply Unit (TSSU), 2 operating rooms and a recovery unit.

Our operating rooms are equipped with piped-in medical gas system, operating room lights, lamina air flow, anaesthetic machines, mobile C-Arm image intensifier unit, lead lined walls, anti-static floors and designated to accommodate a wide range of day surgery procedures.
